The report examines how digital tools and artificial intelligence are being used in integration services for refugees and migrants in the Nordic capitals. It examines both opportunities and challenges – ranging from improved access to information, language learning and employment support to the risk of digital barriers, a lack of transparency and data protection challenges.

A key focus is the human dimension: how can technology support, rather than replace, human contact and contribute to create trust and agency? The report is based on a survey, interviews, and a workshop with stakeholders from the Nordic countries.

The report results in 21 concrete recommendations as well as a human-centered evaluation tool, aiming to support an inclusive and responsible use of digital solutions and AI across the Nordic region.
