Expertgruppen Integration

Nordic expert group on labour market integration

The Nordic Expert Group on Labour Market Integration is an informal Nordic network of experts in the field. The participants, 2–3 from each Nordic country, mainly represent national ministries or authorities responsible for integration, or umbrella organisations for local and regional authorities. Participation in the group takes place over three-year periods. The expert group is coordinated by the Integration Norden project at the Nordic Welfare Centre.

The main purpose of the expert group is to: 1) support the project’s work with professional expertise, and 2) serve as a professional forum for exchanging knowledge and experiences on integration with colleagues across the Nordic region.

The expert group is crucial in ensuring that the Nordic activities in the project address the right issues and are relevant to the work carried out in the national contexts. The experts share up-to-date information on integration issues from their own countries and sectors, which helps the project team to stay up-to-date.
