Ukrainian refugees in the Nordics – Policies, dilemmas, and outcomes

Location

0260 Oslo

Following Russia’s full invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, almost 200,000 refugees from Ukraine fled to the Nordic countries.

On Thursday 12 October, the Norwegian Institute for Social Research and The Nordic Institute for Migration will host a comparative Nordic seminar in Oslo on the reception, integration and return of Ukrainian refugees.

Throughout the conference, renowned migration experts will examine the problems and tactics of refugee reception in Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, Finland and Norway through presentations and Q&A sessions. The seminar is free and open to everyone and will also be live-streamed.
