Nordic statistics on migration and integration
On this page, you can find updated statistics on migration and integration in the Nordic countries, with a focus on the labour market, education and social trends.
The data, which comes from the Nordic Statistics Database, is harmonised for comparisons between countries and distinguishes between foreign-born persons and their descendants.
Use this database to view interactive graphs on employment, education and demographics, with filters for region of birth, length of stay and type of residence permit.
The Nordic statistics on migration and integration, are a collaboration between the Nordic statistical institutes developed with the support of the Nordic Council of Ministers, and began in 2015. The data was last updated in 2024, and Icelandic figures will follow after methodological revisions. Complete source tables, metadata and variable definitions are available via links below each chart.
