We collaborate with two expert groups

Expert groups are central to our work. They support the work of the project with professional expertise, and function as professional forum for exchanging knowledge and experiences on integration with colleagues across the Nordics.

The Nordic expert group on labour market integration of refugees and migrants is an informal Nordic network for experts in the field. The members represent national ministries or authorities responsible for integration, or umbrella organisations for local and regional authorities. The expert group is coordinated by the Integration Norden -project at the Nordic Welfare Centre.

The Nordic Migrant Expert Forum consists of 16 experts on different areas related to integration. All members are born outside the Nordic Region and have migrated to a Nordic country. The Forum provides professional input to what makes good integration of migrants in the Nordic countries, and to how to ensure Nordic cooperation in the field. 

The members in the group have been selected by the Ministries responsible for integration in the Nordic countries. The Forum is coordinated by the Nordic Council of Minister secretariat.
