How can education help integrate Ukrainian refugees at a local level?

That’s the main question at a conference in Tallinn, Estonia, that will feature representatives of academia, local governments, and state organizations in the Nordic-Baltic region. They will share their experiences and practices for integrating immigrants in their home countries.

The event takes place 24 October 2023 at the KUMU Art Museum of Estonia in Tallinn.

The Estonian Minister of Education and Research, Kristina Kallas, will deliver the first keynote speech. Afterwards, there will be presentations from Sweden, Finland, Norway, Latvia, and Lithuania.

The conference is part of the Nordic-Baltic project FOR-IN, which will run from 2022 to 2024. The project’s goal is to promote integration of immigrants and refugees at the local level in the Nordic-Baltic Region by establishing practical models of collaborative work that fit specific countries and forming regional networks of practitioners.
